Toy Pod will Ensure a Happy Holiday for Military Children
The Temple Chamber of Commerce Military Affairs Committee is helping the Santa’s Workshop on Fort Hood this holiday season. The organization is collecting unwrapped new toys, books and games for children ages 6 months
to 12 years old.
Donations may be brought to the Temple Chamber of Commerce; located at 2 N. 5th St. Last Christmas, 3,400 children received toys through the Workshop program. At the end of each day, the toys will be placed in the pod located in the Chamber parking lot. The committee will be collecting toys until December 3rd. Please try to help support this event so that our Military families
are able to have a great holiday.
Santa's Workshop is a 501-C3 non-profit organization. Its mission is to make new toys accessible for needy children of the Fort Hood military community during the holiday season.
At Santa's Workshop Fort Hood, parents are able to visit and receive brand new toys, games and books for their children.
The foundation of Santa's Workshop is a direct result of the generous support received from the military community and from the many individuals, private organizations and businesses in and around Central Texas.
The Military Affairs Committee and The Temple Chamber of Commerce are asking for your generosity to ensure the children of our military men and women will have a wonderful holiday season.
